The clubs, organisations and individuals linked here have not necessarily directly provided skills or techniques used in our syllabus, but represent those who have provided insight, experience, support and simple food for thought.

SKDA Karate

Run by Shihan Adrian Valman, the Shojujitsu Karate Do School provides an inspirational demonstration of how a traditional but independent organisation can flourish. Taking cues from both karate and jujitsu, Shihan Valman has created an effective and proven system. On a personal note ABK would not exist without his encouragement and support and the example of his dojo.

Sei Jou Kai Ju Jitsu

A traditional Jujitsu club under Shihan Roger Knowles. Approachable and friendly, Shihan Knowles combines a deep knowledge of Jujitsu with a history including Goju Ryu karate to provide a solid approach to self defence whilst respecting the founding art.

Seito Ryu Karate

A Goju Ryu club based in the South East under Sensei Richard Hang Hong, teaching adults and children to a high standard and with practical goals. Sensei Hang Hong brings a wealth of knowledge to his organisation, gained from extensive travel to work with numerous high-level instructors world wide.
